Paul Anka says that the people handling Michael Jackson’s estate are falling over each other, apologizing for ripping off his song and offering him anything he wants to avoid a bigger mess. John Branca, one of the King of Pop’s administrators also came out with a statement saying “We acknowledge that Michael and Paul wrote this song together.” As it was previously reported, Paul claims that the late singer’s song ‘This is It’ is the track that Paul wrote with Michael in 1983, which was originally recorded under the title ‘I Never Heard’. Paul says that he’s not trying to hold the estate up but he just wants them to be fair. The other administrator, John McClain, says that he even wants Paul to do promotion.

If you are in Los Angeles this coming weekend and you think that you have a couple thousand that you can spare, stop by the Beverly Hills Hilton and enjoy a Julien’s auction event. Everything that will be up for grabs at the event has been owned by Barbra Streisand. Over 500 items are up for grabs, including art work, jewellery, pieces of furniture and costumes from some of the actress/singer’s most famous films. All proceeds from the auction will go to the Streisand Foundation which provides grants to environmental and social justice causes. So who wants to have a piece of Barbra?

It may be hard for her to watch but DJ AM’s mother says that she gave her blessing to MTV to run the posthumous documentary about her son’s battle with drug addiction. The late entertainer’s mother said that she recently saw a private screening of ‘Gone Too Far’ and was so moved by it that she decided that it should go on air without any changes. She said “We gave our blessing. We decided that it was so touching and that it should go on the air. It was a wonderful testament to the work Adam did. I only wish he were here to help so many more.”

Paper work is always a bitch and DJ AM’s estate is correcting a minor error that accidentally made the guy out to be one hell of a real estate tycoon. It’s all over papers filed in LA County Superior Court last month which stated that the entertainer’s real estate property generated $3.5 million per year. The estate now claims that they goofed a little bit and should’ve stated that the total value of his real estate property was $3.5 million. The estate also noted that AM had another $400,000 in personal property and $2.9 million in debt. if you do the math, AM’s estate is valued at $1 million.

The mother of tragic DJ AM, who died recently of a drug overdose, has given her permission for a reality rehab show he was filming to go ahead and air on MTV.

Andrea Gross said she recently saw a private screening of Gone Too Far and was moved to the point where she believed it should go on air. Her son had been committed to working on the project to help others in the weeks before his sudden death.

In a statement, she said:"We gave our blessing. We decided that it was so touching and that it should go on the air. It was a wonderful testament to the work Adam did. I only wish he were here to help so many more."

MTV in a noticeable silence, declined from issuing a statement of its own on the decision, allowing the grief-stricken family to be its own voice.

"Bill drove us all crazy, constantly coming in with things, even though the old songs weren’t finished yet," says Tom, who's fond of frequently ribbing his brother. "Apart from that, we just didn’t limit ourselves, and we used new instruments."

CRASH LOVE will be released September 29 on DGC/Interscope. AFI recently added another leg of dates to its first series of live shows in the U.S. since its July 7, 2007 Live Earth appearance. The tour commences October 2 in Minneapolis with additional dates running up through a November 22 appearance at Stubbs Amphitheater in Austin, TX.

Officials in California are now in the process of making it harder for drug addicts to get their hands on prescription medication and they’re citing Michael Jackson and Anna Nicole Smith’s deaths as reasons why. Attorney General Jerry Brown recently announced that an online database has been created so doctors can keep watch on patients’ drug records. The creation of the database was explained by saying “The recent deaths of Anna Nicole Smith and Michael Jackson have made clear to the whole world just how dangerous prescription drug abuse can be.” The database, called the Controlled Substance Utilization Review and Evaluation System (CURES), will be available to doctors, pharmacists and law enforcement officials.

Kevin Jonas recently made an impromptu appearance at a special screening of Michael Cera's new movie Youth in Revolt.

Kevin, 21, is currently on set in Canada filming a sequel to flick Camp Rock with his brothers Nick and Joe.

He snuck off the set for a while to attend the Toronto Film Festival where he was the surprise guest at the screening of the comedy, also starring Ray Liotta, Paula Doubleday and Zach Galifianakis at the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre.

An onlooker said: "Kevin came in a side door to let the stars of the movie be in the spotlight. Backstage before the movie started, he talked with the cast and the filmmakers."

The source added: "He was chatting about his engagement, how he loves golf and about how he has a house in LA but their home base will always be Texas."

Rod Stewart's son, Sean, was involved in a car accident Wednesday in Beverly Hills.

RadarOnline reported exclusively that Sean drove on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles when he pulled a wide turn that caused $200,00 damage to the driver's side of his convertible Bentley GT.

Stewart was not hurt, and walked away from the accident. His car was towed after he called a tow truck company.

He joked the incident was "the car's fault, it was a malfunction".

According to the New York Post, the Jackson family and the owners of Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch have decided to turn the famed property into a Graceland-style amusement park to celebrate the King of Pop. A source close to the late singer’s family says “This is important to Jermaine — he is really pushing for this. He has a big vision for Neverland as a museum, tourist attraction and concert venue.” The park could open as early as Christmas. Nearby residents can’t imagine construction to that extent in their quiet neighborhood. Nearby resident Elizabeth Farnum said “I'm pretty sure anyone who lives on the road would say that, that it wouldn't be a popular idea. Our experience is that a majority feel that way.”

Despite the attempts of her lawyers, Katherine Jackson was not able to keep from public disclosure the allowance she and three of her grandchildren will receive from Michael Jackson's estate.

Burt Levitch, attorney for Katherine, told the court: "A bottom line dollar figure would make life more difficult for Katherine Jackson, it would create a feeding frenzy."

But Judge Mitchell Beckloff said: "There is public interest in this."

A breakdown of how the money is spent will be kept sealed, however.

Judge Beckloff also said he would rule in two days' time on the question of whether she would lose her beneficiary status if she contests her son's will. She has a 40 percent stake in the estate.

Phil Spector's young wife Rachelle Short will fight on for the imprisoned music producer.

Spector, in the latest development to his conviction for the murder of Lana Clarkson, has put together an appeal to overturn the jury verdict that last year put him away in a California prison for 19 years to life.

Short has been told the chances of success in the appeal are slim. But she said: "I believe he is innocent and will fight for ever to clear his name. His prints were not on the gun, there was no gun residue on his hands, he had only one tiny fleck of blood on his shirt and he was wearing white. There was no way he could have done it.

Short and Spector were married in the foyer of his home, where Clarkson's body was discovered slumped in a chair - dead from a gunshot wound to the throat.

Short said: "We have already launched the appeal into his conviction. I have been told that, statistically, very few murder cases are overturned on appeal, but I have to keep my faith in the justice system. I won't rest until my husband comes home. He knows I am behind him 100 per cent."

Spector's own children testified against him, along with a bevy of women who had dated or known him in the past. Short said: "His kids have caused him the most pain. His two eldest sons, Lois and Gary, testified against him in court - that hurt him badly."

The actress said she loved the Spice Girls when she was younger.

And she would always pretend to be Melanie Brown - Scary Spice - while her younger sisters played at being the other band members.

She said: "My sisters and I all did the Spice Girls thing.

"I was always Scary Spice because I had the curly hair."

Rumer, 21, the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, will next be seen on screen in horror flick, Sorority Row.

And she said that her parents get along with her boyfriend Micah Alberti - especially Die Hard star Bruce.

She told a US TV show: "They love him. My dad and him immediately got on.

"My dad acts all macho and badass but he's so not."

Katherine McPhee recently shot the music video for her new song ‘Had It All’ which comes off of her upcoming album ‘Unbroken’. The single is already available on iTunes. The newly blonde American Idol alum’s new album will be out on October 6. The video was directed by Cyril Guyot and shot in Saugus, California. The song was written by David Hodges, Mitch Allan and American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi. The singer’s video will be released some time next month. That should give me enough time to get used to her as a blonde. I don’t know what it is, but something just doesn’t look right with her having blonde hair.

The photographer sister of reality TV actor Ryan Jenkins is the focus of a police investigation following the strangulation murder of his model wife Jasmine Fiore, 28, in California.

Jenkins, who was the subject of an international manhunt, was found dead in a Canadian motel room this week, having hanged himself from the bar of a clothing rack.

The Associated Press now reports that a silver PT Cruiser matching the description of the vehicle seen dropping him at the Thunderbird Motel in Hope, British Columbia, is parked at his half-sister's condominium in Vancouver. Alena Jenkins is a photographer in the city.

Police say they have identified the woman who helped Jenkins check into the motel, but have not released her identity. They say they are investigating whether she will face charges.

Jenkins, a Vancouver photographer, posted her work to the same website Fiore used. The main page of the website, Model Mayhem, was still up but her photos had been taken down.

The site says Jenkins models "beauty, environmental portraits, nudes, hair & makeup, editorial, fashion, glamour, figure study, and commercial".

People reports a woman who answered Jenkins's phone had no comment to make. She told the magazine Jenkins was busy with her family working on funeral arrangements.

Ryan Jenkins was a contestant on Megan Wants a Millionaire and I Love Money 3. VH-1 has cancelled both shows in light of the Fiore killing.

America's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan was left red-faced by a group of sexy burlesque dancers.

The British former newspaper editor was tossed a pair of pink silky knickers worn by one of the Lollipop Girls, who wowed audiences in their bid for a place in the talent show's semi-finals.

The saucy 'Pussycat Dolls-esque' dancers stripped down to their sequined bras, stockings and suspenders during the routine, and tossed their flimsy smalls out into the audience.

When it came to judging, both Piers and fellow panelist David Hasselhoff were visibly hot under the collar.

"The Hoff" retrieved a pair of French knickers which had landed near their desk and flung them at Piers, who was reduced to a fit of giggles.

"Can I keep them?" he asked, before telling the 10-piece girl group from San Diego, California, that they were "very sexy".

"Ladies I could watch that for a long, long time. Very, very charming," he said.

Morgan and Hasselhoff sit on the judging panel with music mogul Sharon Osbourne, who was also bowled over by the act.

Actor Eddie Cibrian's divorce papers show he is blaming "irreconcilable differences" for the split - and he is also chasing 'spousal support'.

The star, who has appeared on TV shows such as 'Ugly Betty' and 'The Starter Wife', filed for divorce from wife Brandi on Monday after almost eight years of marriage.

It comes as he and country superstar LeAnn Rimes, whom he was photographed allegedly cheating with, appear ready to be seen together publicly.

The CSI: Miami star's papers, filed in the Superior Court of Los Angeles, blame "irreconcilable differences" for wanting a divorce.

Cibrian's papers have a cross showing that he is seeking 'spousal support' but they have yet to work out how to split their property. The couple have two children, Mason, six, and Jake, two.

Brandi confirmed to reporters that she had "accepted" his curt papers.

"He filed and I accepted it," she said. "We're getting a divorce. We talked to each other" on Monday, the day he filed.

She said that her husband was going on vacation with Rimes, and quipped sarcastically: "I'm looking forward to seeing those pictures."

There is no mention of Rimes, who he was spotted on a public date with recently, in the papers.

Rimes and Cibrian met on the set of the Lifetime movie "Northern Lights." Since news of an alleged affair, Rimes has been living apart from her estranged husband Dean Sheremet.
