A remake of the 80s film ‘Back to the Future’ starring Michael J. Fox should be out of the question. But the fact that it’s being discussed with the remake starring Justin Bieber is just nauseating to me. Unfortunately, sources are saying that this could very much be a possibility with the teen pop singer being considered for the remake if “he is capable of acting at that level”. I have yet to see his acting chops but regardless of that, teen girls will still flock to him. I guess Hollywood is more concerned about making money than producing anything original and has quality.

Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony recently moved to a mansion in Hidden Hills, California and In Touch is reporting that the couple was actually interviewed to become members of the local Sherwood Country Club. It seemed that the two Latin pop singers really tried to look the part as an insider reveals “J. Lo showed up looking like Jackie O and Marc was wearing some ridiculous preppy style outfit — it was like they looked up what people wear to country clubs and then tried to imitate it. She did all the talking — Marc barely said anything. It seemed clear that he didn’t want to mess up, like it was really important to her. Jennifer already wants to make some improvements to the neighborhood, so she’s getting involved in the association. She’s attending meetings and wants to run for office during the next election.” Who knew JLo wanted the life of a suburban housewife?

Rockefeller Center was decorated with giant gummy bears and lollipops on 27 August to promote the release of "Teenage Dream", whose graphics theme is inspired by such elements. The theme, called the artist "Candyfornia" was not chosen at random. Katy thought of her fans who slept on sidewalks the night before to catch the event on Friday morning, so entering the stage, she told the fans who were still sleepy "I wanted to bring you something sweet because it's so early, and many people are still a bit grumpy ... so something sweet can make everyone feel better". Perry began her concert with "California Gurls", then sang "Teenage Dream" and finished the mini-concert with the super hit "I Kissed a Girl".

Legendary singer Stevie Nicks has announced to sources that she is hard at work on a new solo CD. It’s been quite a while since we’ve heard any new music from her that wasn’t Fleetwood Mac related but she assures everyone that her new stuff will drop some time next year. While it is a solo album, Stevie is collaborating for the first time as she is writing with The Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart. She said “This is a great opportunity to do something new. You feed so much off each other…. [the CD is a] full-blown rock-n-roll album with some beautiful ballads”. I can’t wait!

Kara DioGuardi is still talking about getting fired from American Idol. According to a source, the former judge has been trying to leave the reality TV show for some time now. The source said “She went to Fox two months ago and told them she didn't want to do another season. She's ready to move on. She did two years and thinks that's enough.” I don’t buy it. Wasn’t it just a couple of weeks ago when her dad said that Kara didn’t find out about getting fired until she read about it in some paper and how she was devastated about it?

Adam Levine and his band Maroon 5 recently swung by the Y100 radio station headquarters in Miami. The singer was asked what the meaning is behind his ‘222’ tattoo, which also happens to be the name of his new clothing line. Adam shared “Well, there’s a place called 222, the first studio we recorded our first demo at in Hollywood and it was this tiny little building. It no longer exists, actually, or it’s under a different name now, but it was the first studio we recorded at and then that demo tape…we had this tape and we took it around. That’s kind of what started our whole career! Even back then, we said 222 was going to be our lucky number and it just kind of stuck with us.”

The ‘Entourage’ star and his band The Honey Brothers are slated to appear on an episode of ‘90210’, which airs on September 27 on the CW. In the episode, the band will perform for the 18th birthday party of Naomi, played by actress AnnaLynne McCord. She and Adrian will have a flirt session and who knows where that will lead? This is art imitating life as Adrian has said that he has a real-life crush on AnnaLynne. Should her boyfriend Kellan Lutz be worried?

A clothing company is taking some legal action against Madonna, claiming that the singer has ripped off the ‘Material Girl’ trademark. LA Triumph, Inc. claims in a new lawsuit it’s been marketing ‘Material Girl’ clothing since 1997, selling millions of dollars worth of clothes under its trademark. According to the documents, the Queen of Pop jacked the name for her junior clothing line, which launched this year. LA Triumph wants a declaration from a federal judge that Madonna’s use of ‘Material Girl’ creates deception in the marketplace and also wants the judge to order Madonna and her company to turn over all of the profits they’ve made from the clothing line.

The organization created to honor DJ AM made a serious donation to a cause that was close to the celebrity DJ’s heart – helping teens who are suffering from addiction. The organization isn’t just writing a fat check though as they are also trying to change lives with state of the art DJ equipment. The DJ AM Memorial Fund is making the donation to the Phoenix House Academy in LA, a residential treatment program for teens struggling with addiction. According to a rep for the DJ AM Fund, the goal is to give kids the chance to find a new passion through music. There’s no word on how much cash they’re donating but it’s said to be a sizable amount.

Shakira will be seen in the first season of the British reality show "Katy Brand Meets”. Cameras and actor Katy Brand will follow Shakira while she will promote her music and will meet with fans on tour. Shakira will begin her "Tour of Earthly Delights" in Uncasvill on September 17 and will end it on December 20 in London. “There will be some themes and there will be many interactive events with the public. My live shows will contain many elements of this kind, there will be many moments of dance and 'joie de vivre'. I feel so free when I’m on stage. The feeling is so strong.” Said Shakira.
