Janet Jackson’s latest album, ‘Number Ones’, was released last week and sources close to the singer confirm to the media that the estate of her late brother Michael Jackson is challenging her rights to a particular lyric in the song ‘Make Me’. The lyric up for debate reads “Don't stop ’til you get it up,” which the King of Pop’s estate is claiming could be similar to Michael’s song ‘Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough’. Janet’s camp has yet to publicly respond to the claim. Personally, I think it’s ridiculous. I’m pretty sure that Michael would have no problems with his sister’s lyrics.

Actress Charlize Theron wants to become the new Catwoman.

The Hollywood star reportedly wants to put the skin-tight suit on and become the next Catwoman in the next Batman movie.

Theron will go up against other contenders for the role actress Megan Fox and Angelina Jolie.

When Charlize heard she was up for the role she was chuffed.

The 34-year-old said: "That's kick ass news."

She added: "I think what has happened to that franchise is amazing. Chris Nolan is a genius, I would be an idiot to not consider that part."

21st Century Breakdown, which will be released by Reprise Records worldwide on May 15th, is the best-selling trio’s first studio album since 2004’s two-time Grammy Award-winning punk-rock opera American Idiot, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart, spawned five hit singles, and went on to sell more than 12 million copies worldwide. In a recent feature, Rolling Stone called 21st Century Breakdown “even more ambitious than American Idiot” and “a record of die-hard punk ideals…tightly scripted, continually ascending classic-rock excitement.”

here’s no denying that President Barack Obama has inspired millions with his words and actions. He has apparently garnered enough power to influence people that a new musical is even being made about him. The show is called ‘Obama on My Mind’. The play’s music, lyrics and script were written by US writer Teddy Hayes. He describes the show as “a humorous romp set in an Obama campaign office, with songs that mix pop, gospel, jazz, some Motownish stuff' and even tango.” The casting hasn’t been announced yet but they won’t have to worry about finding Barack as the president’s character never actually appears on stage. The musical is set to open at a small theater in London on March from the 3rd to the 21st.

A Canadian lady who obtained John Lennon's hand written lyrics to Give Peace A Chance back in 1969 from Montreal's Queen Elizabeth Hotel is going to sell her treasure.

Gail Renard was 16 when she managed to sneak into the Lennon's room when they were doing the famous bed-in for peace.

John and Yoko invited the world's media to join them in their honeymoon suite in Toronto, and Gail managed to get in with the media.

John gave her the hand written lyrics for the song 'Give Peace A Chance', which he had just written in the room. She has kept for almost 40 years.

Christies will auction the lyrics on July 10. It is estimated to be worth $500,000

Mariah Carey struck some fabulous poses as she attends an autograph signing session for her new album ‘E=MC²’ at the Hard Rock Café in Universal City Walk this past Thursday. Mariah’s first single ‘Touch My Body’ which comes off of that album was her 18^th hit to reach number 1 which is a record! She was asked about her thoughts on that to which the 39-year old curvaceous singer replied with “I really can never put myself in the category of people who have not only revolutionized music but also changed the world. That’s a completely different era and time.”

 Mariah Carey was on German Idol this past weekend to “perform” her single ‘Touch My Body’ only to get some harsh criticism. A lot of people, even one of the judges, thought that the curvaceous diva was lip synching. If you get to see a video of the show, it really looks like she got a bit of “help”. That’s not the only time though. She also went on the UK’s Paul O’Grady show and it looked like she totally lip synched on her performance again! I kind of expect more from her. Maybe it’s just one of those things she does in Europe.

When it comes to raising hell, there’s no doubt that Britney Spears is a marathoner. When you hear that it’s the same for her work habits, you just have to raise your eyebrows. It’s doubtful – very doubtful. But her latest video director Wayne Isham thinks otherwise. The ‘Piece of Me’ director told People that “Her endurance was remarkable, as we had a long day. She almost outlasted me, which is amazing! It was a pleasure to work with her again.” Unlike some of her other work excursions, she actually did what she had to do. I guess miracles do happen.
