New Kris Allen Video ‘The Truth’

Kris Allen recently premiered a new music video for his song ‘The Truth’. Train lead singer Pat Monahan makes a cameo in the video as he actually wrote the song with his band’s producer, Toby Gad. This is the very same video that was shot in the middle of the California desert in 110 degree weather that got Kris complaining about to fans via his Twitter. If you’re wonder what he’s been up to recently, the American Idol champ is currently opening for the Maroon 5 tour. I wonder when Kris is going to get his own headlining tour. And I’m also wondering when he’s going to release a new album.

Katy Perry Talks Music Video

The video for Katy Perry’s next single ‘Teenage Dream’ has arrived. The 25-year old pop singer teamed up with director Yoann Lemoine to create the video, which was filmed last month. Katy went on her Twitter that she got to cast all of her friends in the music video, which was even shot in her hometown of Santa Barbara, California. She spoke about the video saying “It is gonna be completely different from ‘California Gurls.’ With ‘Teenage Dream‘ you’ll see a very raw, almost vulnerable [side]. I had to wear so many less layers of makeup.” I can’t wait to see it!

Kanye West video premiere - “Power”

Kanye West released a new video to the song “Power”. As we were warned even before the release, we are not dealing with a usual music video but with a painting in motion. The video was created by contemporary artist Marco Brambilla. While the video focuses on Kanye's figure, who appears as a powerful man, surrounded by beautiful women, the music is heard in the background, but only for 70 seconds, after which the video is silent. “I said it very clearly from the beginning, I am not very interested in a musical video" said Marco.

Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan to star in music video

Hollywood stars Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan will reportedly make raunchy cameos in Rihanna and Eminem's new music video.

The pair will be seen indulging in some sexy bedroom scenes in the video for Rihanna and the rapper's new single Love The Way You Lie, according to E! News.

They will soon be shooting their scenes for the video, which also shows Rihanna and Eminem singing in front of a burning house.

A source said to E! Online: "Things start off with a sex scene between Megan and Dominic. Then they fight but end up having sex again."

It is claimed the relationship between the two will have 'lots of passion'.

Pau Gasol Sings

Los Angeles Lakers superstar Pau Gasol has never been incredibly vocal on court but now that he’s won two NBA championships, the basketball player has decided to dabble into music and record a song. Just days after his teammate Ron Artest dropped his explosive single, Pau hit a North Hollywood recording studio earlier this week to record a song of his own called ‘Get It Together’. But before you go and say that you’ve got the best new artist to ever come into the industry, it’s important to note that Pau is doing the whole thing to raise money for UNICEF. There’s no word on when the track is set to come out.

U2 Concert to Stream Live on YouTube

California, US: U2 have confirmed via video blog that their sold-out concert at the Pasadena Rose Bowl in California, Sunday 25th October 2009 will be streamed free, in full and live on YouTube. It's the first time a show of this size will be streamed live.

The Rose Bowl show is the penultimate U2 show this year - with more to come in 2010 - and already is set to host the venue’s biggest ever audience of over 96, 000 fans. The 360˚ Tour, which has been critically acclaimed and “re-invents rock’n’roll”*, will now boast unique access for fans worldwide - as fans in territories yet to be visited by the tour, or not at all, will be able to enjoy the whole show online. Managed in partnership with Live Nation, this sell-out tour has broken attendance records in most venues it has visited - its success due in part to increased capacity coupled with a lower ticket price and great sight lines afforded by the stunning in-the-round stage set. Visit U2.com or youtube.com/u2official for details of how to join in this ground-breaking on-line event.

U2 manager Paul McGuinness said - "The band has wanted to do something like this for a long time. As we're filming the LA show, it's the perfect opportunity to extend the party beyond the stadium. Fans often travel long distances to come to see U2 - this time U2 can go to them, globally."

YouTube will be streaming live across five continents. The show will be available in the usual You Tube way, as video-on-demand, following two full replays - after the live stream - on both U2.com and You Tube.

"YouTube is thrilled to be able to provide our global audience with a live streaming performance from one of the world's greatest bands" - Chris Maxcy, Director of YouTube Partner Development. "We are always looking for new ways to connect fans around the world with their favourite artists, and this is the perfect opportunity to do just that."

Exclusive Premiere of Tokio Hotel's Humanoid on Myspace

Head over to Tokio Hotel's Myspace for an exclusive listen of their album Humanoid. The first single, "Automatic" is a metallic anthem with layered, buzzing guitars, stomping percussion, and a falsetto chorus made to be belted out by a stadium full of people while "World Behind My Wall" redefines the power ballad with depth, introspection, musical confidence and an irresistible sing-along chorus. The band tracked songs in Hamburg, Miami, and L.A. "Bill drove us all crazy, constantly coming in with things, even though the old songs weren’t finished yet," says Tom, who's fond of frequently ribbing his brother. "Apart from that, we just didn’t limit ourselves, and we used new instruments."

The album does not hit stores until tomorrow, but the band is streaming all 12 tracks from the standard version until midnight. Like what you hear? Preorder the sci-fi themed release on iTunes now.

Katherine McPhee Shoots New Video

Katherine McPhee recently shot the music video for her new song ‘Had It All’ which comes off of her upcoming album ‘Unbroken’. The single is already available on iTunes. The newly blonde American Idol alum’s new album will be out on October 6. The video was directed by Cyril Guyot and shot in Saugus, California. The song was written by David Hodges, Mitch Allan and American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi. The singer’s video will be released some time next month. That should give me enough time to get used to her as a blonde. I don’t know what it is, but something just doesn’t look right with her having blonde hair.
