Kara DioGuardi is still talking about getting fired from American Idol. According to a source, the former judge has been trying to leave the reality TV show for some time now. The source said “She went to Fox two months ago and told them she didn't want to do another season. She's ready to move on. She did two years and thinks that's enough.” I don’t buy it. Wasn’t it just a couple of weeks ago when her dad said that Kara didn’t find out about getting fired until she read about it in some paper and how she was devastated about it?

90210 star Trevor Donovan was "honoured" to take on the role of a gay character in the TV show.

Donovan, who plays the character Teddy Montgomery in the teen drama, will come out as gay in the upcoming third season of the series.

And the 31-year-old is flattered that he has been asked to take on the role.

While at the Breakthrough of the Year Awards at the Pacific Design Centre on Sunday in Hollywood, California, Trevor told JustJared: "It was cool when they came to me with it, I was honoured, flattered that they thought I could take on something like this and handle it in the way it is being written and what we shot so far is done very, very smart, very intelligent.

"It's really going to deal with his inner turmoil, the battle, and the struggles for self acceptance that I don't think gets addressed enough."

The new season of 90210 premieres in the US in September.

TV chef Jamie Oliver said he couldn't believe that he won an Emmy Award for his reality show Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution.

Oliver, 34, wrote on Twitter: "I can't believe we won the Emmy for Food Revolution!" after the show was named as Outstanding Reality Programme at the US awards ceremony.

The show saw him attempt to change the eating habits of residents in Huntington, Virginia, which has been dubbed America's fattest town.

Oliver also thanked all the people that have signed his petition to get healthier lunch meals for school kids.

Over 70 awards were handed out at the Primetime Emmy Awards in LA a week before the main Emmy Awards ceremony takes place.

Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian did not storm out on her husband in a jealous rage.

The 26 year old took to her website to set the record straight about rumours that she had walked out on her hubby, basketball player Lamar Odom, 30, because he was flirting with women at a New York club.

She wrote: "Sorry to disappoint everyone, but Lamar and I aren't big fighters.

"Come to think of it, that was actually a really fun night out with all of our closest friends, lots of dancing, drinks and our usual silliness."

Khloe added: "Stories like these do not really bother me too much anymore."

Emma Thompson might not want to go on holiday to the Isle of Wight anytime soon.

The British actress went on a US talk show and poked fun at the island with Scottish-born host Craig Ferguson.

Thompson, 51, joked that residents of the Isle of Wight were still allowed 'to stone homosexuals'.

Ferguson told Thompson that he was going on holiday to the island of Catalina, off the coast of California, which he compared to the Isle of Wight.

"Oh, so they stone homosexuals there? Nice," Thompson said roaring with laughter on The Late Late Show.

"I think they are allowed to shoot Irish or Scottish people if they arrive on the island, it is still in the rules, they are allowed to torture people. It's lovely, you should go."

Nick Lachey is considering starring in a reality TV show with his girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo. Hasn’t he learned his lesson the washed up singer did that with ex-wife Jessica Simpson? Nick said “There's nothing in the works right now. I think it would pose a unique set of challenges. I guess the positive is that I'm actually familiar with those challenges. The negative would be I'm also familiar with those challenges. It's hard to say never to anything. You never know.” I say, just keep everything off of the TV. He would be doing the whole world a favor by staying out of sight.

‘Desperate Housewives’ alum Jesse Metcalfe is featured on the latest issue of Da Man magazine. The 31- year old actor talked about how he ended up in Hollywood, causes important to him and music, among other things. Anyway, Jesse spoke of his passion for music, saying “I love writing and playing music because it’s a very direct and unaffected means of expression, and for me very cathartic. When you’re playing and performing you lose yourself, everything else fades away, it’s just like ‘being in the moment’ as an actor. I love all types of music, but listen mostly to indie rock, classic rock and folk.” I hope he doesn’t end up as one of those actors that think they can make it as a singer.

Ke$ha recently volunteered some of her time for the Grammy SoundChecks event in Los Angeles which was held at the Staples Center last week. The event offered high school students and college students the unique opportunity to attend rehearsals and concert sound checks of major artists and experience a candid Q&A discussion about careers in the music industry because everyone knows by now that not everyone can be a singer. Wow. Who knew that Ke$ha was considered major and a singer at that? I bet that the trashy pop star was so happy about that. FYI, the 2011 Grammy Awards will air on February 12, 2011on CBS from LA’s Staples Center.

Larry King and his wife Shawn Southwick have officially called off their divorce, according to reports.

Three months after initially filing divorce proceedings, the couple are said to have filed petitions requesting a Los Angeles court dismiss their case.

In a statement, King said: "A lot of new things are happening to us and we are happy to be together as a family with our children."

In April the 76 year-old TV host, who recently announced his plans to retire from this night time talk show, and his 50 year-old wife announced they were splitting, before reconciling a short time alter.

At the time, the couple said they owed: "It to ourselves and our children to continue being dedicated to each other."

The couple have two sons, Chance, 11, and ten year-old Cannon.
