Angelina Jolie's dad Jon Voight has confirmed that he has reconciled with his famous daughter.
The 70-year-old admitted that he and Jolie, 34, have got back in touch after they fell out in 2001.
Voight said to Us Weekly: "We're in touch, but not regularly. We love each other and that's the most important thing."
The father-daughter duo fell out in 2001 after Voight appeared on TV and appeared emotional as he asked her to get help for her "serious mental problems".
A family friend added that the twosome "met face-to-face" in February and have been talking ever since.
The friend added: "Angie made the initial contact. Brad [Pitt] has been supportive - a key factor in her reaching out."
