A law enforcement official told the Associated Press last week that Dr. Conrad Murray has been identified in court papers as the subject of a manslaughter investigation surrounding the death of the King of Pop Michael Jackson. According to the source, the late singer regularly took the powerful anaesthetic Propofol to get some sleep and that his live in doctor administered the drug the night before Michael’s death. Authorities believe that the drug is the cause of his death. Dr. Murray was present when Michael passed away on June 25th but his lawyer maintains that he did not prescribe or give Michael anything that should have killed him.
